Energy Performance Certificates

An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) is required by law when a property is built, sold or rented. An EPC contains information about energy usage, typical energy costs and recommendations on how to reduce costs and save money. The property is rated by its energy efficiency, ranging from A (most efficient) to G (least efficient) and all EPC’s are valid for 10 years.

At Applecot Property Marketing we are accredited with Elmhurst Energy to produce EPC’s and offer advice EPC ratings, what improvements that can be made and government schemes available.

Applecot Property Marketing are independent EPC providers connected to The EPC Man network. The network is recognised through the National Residential Landlords Association as approved suppliers. The NRLA are the largest membership for private residential landlords in the UK.
EPC’s are a legal requirement for all domestic, sales and rental properties. We can provide a fast turn around and give advice on improvements that can be made to your property. Assessments are produced by a qualified Domestic Energy Assessor who can also carry out floorplans, property photography all in one visit.

Elmhurst Energy is the UK’s largest Government approved accreditation body for Energy Assessors. We at Applecot Property Marketing are qualified members that are fully trained and insured to produce legally valid EPCs using the relevant Reduced data Standard Assessment Procedure (RdSAP) software.
